I am very pleased to provide a recommendation for ASG Information Technologies. We had worked with a number of Information Technology companies previously, but none were as responsive as ASG has been for us. It does not matter whether it is a little or big problem, they are there to get us through it.
In these four years, we have made major upgrades to our servers, individual pc’s and proprietary insurance software. They have given us solid advice that we have found to be spot on. The staff at ASG all had the patience to get us through it all with little to no complications. They do much behind the scenes to keep us up and running efficiently and without interruption.
We have also requested ASG to conduct a Vulnerability and Penetration Test on our network. It is nice to know that our systems are secure. Due to this test and other security measures ASG helped us implement, we received a credit on our Cyber Liability Insurance Policy.
Rob Mitchell, the owner, and his staff are very knowledgeable and all easy to work with. The response times are very quick and they ask pertinent questions to get to the bottom of the problem for a quick resolution. We feel that we are in very good hands because of their integrity and professionalism.

They keep me informed of ways to keep our IT up and running in a timely basis and they are very HIPAA proactive. Just recently Dave, the technician, set up Director of Building Services up with a portal that allows him to monitor our boilers remotely from his home computer. This enables him to check heat all night and to adjust the heat if needed. He also set up remote access to our outdoor cameras which Fred can see when plowing the snow needs to happen.
One of the biggest benefits that we have received since hiring ASG Information Technologies is that they have helped us with our IT needs which has grown from Microsoft Office to a cloud-based clinical software, wireless access, security cameras, and remote access to physical plant equipment (furnace, AC, cameras, etc.) We do so much over the Internet which makes workflows so much smoother.
I am very pleased with how our working relationship has evolved over the years. We have had several virus attacks on our network which our virtual server has saved us time and money. We lost a few hours of work, but it wasn’t a major catastrophe.
What I have personally appreciated is the technicians allowing me to look over their shoulders. I have learned enough from them to do fairly effective triage and simple repairs. This allows us to more effectively manage our network and resources which keeps our costs down. At this point, the trust is there that if I tell the technicians there is a problem, they believe me. We don’t waste time with trips for things that don’t need fixing.
Also, being able to talk with Rob, the owner of ASG, on Christmas morning when our firewall went down and we could not do our charting on line is worth noting. He had Chris, the technician, out first thing in the morning the day after Christmas and we were up and running. Rob – you have a great team!
What our company likes most about ASG Information Technologies is their quick response to any problems that we have had.

Even when we email to their support, there is a follow up phone call from them. I never feel like my questions or issues are not important.
They also stick with a problem until there is an answer or a fix. I was seeing a message on my computer and they quickly remoted in to my computer to quick run scans to make sure everything was ok.
Recently we restructured our office and ASG performed the IT project of a new virtualized server. In order not to have downtime during the project, ASG moved our programs and data to their location and our employees were able to continue to work during the new project. The IT project went incredibly smooth.
The biggest benefit that we have received from ASG is their very quick assistance and the knowledge that they have of all the programs that we run.
From a management perspective, it is comforting to know the systems are secure and we have assistance in emergencies.
I personally experienced a corruption of one of our larger Access Databases, which became unuseable. Within 5 minutes of calling ASG, they were able to get the most recent backup operational for me, saving me hours of time and aggravation. The biggest benefits that we have received since hiring ASG is peace of mind, and positive movement for our IT systems.
