Running on your own hardware, it's the server and the database along with everything around them. On a cloud platform like NetSuite, it's the workstations, the network path in and out, the backups, and the integrations the ERP depends on. Either way we coordinate with your ERP vendor on the application itself rather than trying to replace them. If your ERP is the system you schedule the week around, it gets monitored like one.

A CAD workstation is not a front-office PC, so we spec and support it as what it is: the right hardware and graphics, licensing that doesn't strand an engineer mid-job, file shares that don't crawl on a large assembly, and backups that cover the model history rather than just the desktop.

That's the normal case on a shop floor, and pulling the machine is rarely an option when it's still making parts. So we stop treating it as a PC. We segment the OT side from the IT side so the front office can't reach a machine cell, restrict what those devices are allowed to talk to, and put EDR (endpoint detection and response) on the endpoints that can carry an agent. The ones that can't get isolated rather than left exposed.

No, and we won't sell you a framework you don't need. CMMC and NIST 800-171 only bite if you handle federal contract information or CUI, which in practice means a defense contract or a prime's flow-down clause. A lot of the manufacturers we support are purely commercial and never touch either. What applies to you is everything else on this page: uptime, segmentation, and backups you can actually restore from. If a defense opportunity does turn up later, we'll tell you plainly what it would take.

Certification is issued by an independent C3PAO, the accredited third-party assessor, and it isn't something ASG or any other MSP can hand you. Our job is all the work in front of it: scoping, the gap assessment, remediation, the documentation and evidence, your SPRS score, and coordination with an accredited C3PAO we regularly work with. Five Cyber-AB Registered Practitioners are on staff to do it, and today 3 of our clients are CMMC Level 2 certified, 7 are in Level 2 certification, and 20+ have attained Level 1. On your second question, assessors do look at your provider during a Level 2 assessment, so it's worth asking: ASG is itself in the process of becoming CMMC compliant, and our architecture keeps CUI off ASG systems, so your controlled unclassified information never lives on our infrastructure.

We're on call. Manufacturing doesn't stop at 5:30 and neither does a production-down call, so it reaches an engineer rather than a queue that opens in the morning. During the day, an engineer answers the phone in about four rings on average and first response on tickets averages seven minutes.

Typically two to four weeks, phased so most of the work lands before cutover. It's white glove and we're onsite for the entire transition. Whether we overlap with your outgoing provider depends on them: where they allow it, day-to-day support overlaps through the switch, and where they don't, we go live on transition day and keep a line open to them for a week or two, because documentation is never as complete as anyone claims.
